Still talking about crusin’

-17 °C

Hello again! Onto the rest of the story about our cruise. We tied up in the city of Wuhan to visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. The museum was full of cultural relics, including, pottery, porcelains, jade, bronze vessels, ancient weapons, and ancient musical instruments. The museum is massive, there were three big section and we found ourselves lost a few times. We spent 3 hours there and then were back on the ship and continued cruising down the river.

The next day we had a full day excursion to Yellow Mountain. Well its technical name is Mt. Huangshan. It has four spectacle peaks, odd-shaped pines, hot springs, and seas of cloud. We hiked up different peaks all day and soaked up all the magnificent scenery. We slept like babies that night after climbing all day.

We awoke a bit sore but excited for what are day had planned. We went on a full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty-style bazaar surrounding a Confucian temple. That was a great experience if you ever want to look into going on one here is a link to a great website. http://www.yangtzeriver.org/index.htm
